Paco Pomet at CAMPUS Exhibition, Valencia
Paco Pomet is one of 14 artists invited to take part in CAMPUS. University Architecture in Contemporary Painting, an interesting new exhibition at Centre Cultural La Nau de Valencia, curated by Juan Cuéllar and Roberto Mollá.
The exhibition pays homage to the buildings of Universitat de València and the important role that they have played in the history of the city, its urban planning and in the introduction of new architectural styles.
The Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences - the building that is the subject of Fraxinus Sophialis, Pomet’s contribution to the show - was constructed in 1959 by Fernando Moreno Barberá and represents the Modern Movement of the 50’s and 60’s in all its splendour.

The other participating artists are Lorena Amorós, Dis Berlin, Juan Cuéllar, Paco De la Torre, Carlos García-Alix, Elena Goñi, Jorge Tarazona, Joël Mestre, Roberto Mollá, Pamen Pereira, Señor Cifrián, Teresa Tomás and Nelo Vinuesa.
The exhibition runs until 3rd September 2023, and is open from 10:00 - 14:00 and 16:00 - 20:00 Tuesday to Saturday, and 10:00 - 14:00 on Sundays and public holidays. Entrance in free.
